What I Do

Over the years, I have worked as an editor, translator, communications consultant, and producer across a range of projects in the fields of art, culture, and the creative industries. While these roles may seem different, they all revolve around the same thing for me: attention, interpretation, and helping ideas find their most precise form.

I edit academic texts in both English and Hungarian, including undergraduate and master’s theses, research papers, and doctoral dissertations. Much of my work has focused on texts related to art, design, fashion, and visual culture, and I have developed a strong familiarity with the literature, critical discourses, and contexts that shape these fields.

For me, editing extends beyond language and style to include a text’s structure, logic, rhythm, and internal coherence.

I also teach English from A1 to C2 level, primarily through one-on-one sessions. Speaking and communication are at the heart of my teaching, and each session is shaped by the individual goals and interests of the person I work with.

I hold a degree in English language and literature and spent eight years living in New York. My relationship with English has therefore been shaped not only by formal study and academic training, but also by everyday life and professional experience. Drawing on my background in communications, editing, and translation, I often incorporate authentic texts, cultural topics, and contemporary references into my teaching.

My studio is located at art quarter budapest, an independent contemporary art center in Budapest’s 22nd district.
